About me

I have been in practice as a Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Counsellor and NLP Master Practitioner for over 25 years and have during that time treated thousands of satisfied clients for a diverse range of conditions and situations. I am a specialist in anxiety and stress related conditions, including weight problems, smoking, drinking and sleeping difficulties and much more.

I run an ethical practice, work in a private and peaceful setting, where confidentiality is guaranteed. I hold an Advance Certificate from the Criminal Records Board and comply with the ethical conduct codes of the organisations listed below.

National Council for Hypnotherapy

The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.

There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

I do not offer free initial consultations, but do not charge more for the first consultation and treatment session of approximately one and a half hours, which cost £65 and includes a CD I have recorded.

Subsequent treatments are also £65 and last at least one hour. If however after the first half an hour of the initial session you do not wish to proceed, no charge will be made.

A Stop Smoking session lasts one and a half hours and costs
£95 including a CD to reinforce the process if needed.
Counselling is £55 per Hour.
Some concession including NHS staff, full time students and Help for Heroes Scheme

Payment can be made by cheque or cash at each appointment, or by credit or debit card via PayPal.

Normal Working hours are 9am - 8pm Monday to Thursday
9am - 6pm Fridays 9am - 12 noon Saturdays
Closed Sundays. Other times and emergencies by arrangement.

Wheelchairs users can be accommodated, no stairs.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.
