About me

Being acknowledged fully is the first step to healing I believe. To truly be heard is very rare these days. I aim to do that for all my clients.

Many people could use a little therapy, most not very much.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a flexible approach, it is always personally tailored to the individual and therefore is suitable for anyone looking for change.

The therapy I offer is as brief and cost effective as possible. It is my intention to provide an empowering approach enabling you to create choice in your life and establish an ability to manage your emotional, physical and mental state.

Training, qualifications & experience

My training was with Trevor Silvester at the Quest Institute.
The Quest course provides cutting edge training that exceeds the national occupational standards set for hypnotherapy in the UK.
I trained in Cognitive hypnotherapy, which includes NLP, EFT, EMI, gestalt and positive psychology amongst other interventions. I hold the HPD.
I went on to graduate in advanced Newcode NLP with John Grinder (the co-founder of NLP)
I am a member of the NCH and the QCHPA, and I am DBS checked.
I am committed to ongoing training and personal development.
I have been working in this field for 15 years. During that time I have helped with issues such as insomnia, fear of flying, anxiety, public speaking, weight management, panic attacks, many different phobias, stress management, unexplained infertility and much more.
I have coached clients in (amongst many things) becoming an author, changing career, parenting, relocating to another country and becoming influential in their field of expertise.
I have helped many clients have a positive experience of Childbirth, using the amazing Confident Childbirth techniques.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Therapies offered

  • Cognitive hypnotherapy
  • Time Line Therapy™

Fees

I offer a free telephone consultation.
This gives me the chance to learn more about you and explain how I work.
Then we can work out the best way to support you.

My fees are £95 an hour.

Adults sessions last between 75 & 90 minutes £115

Teens sessions last up to 60 minutes £95
Children's sessions last up to 60 minutes £75

There is no one size fits all way of working with Cognitive hypnotherapy, you are all unique, therefore it is impossible for me to say how many sessions will be needed. Typically I see clients between 3 to 6 sessions. We will work together on the number and frequency of sessions.

A conversation costs nothing and may put you a step closer to achieving a change in your life. Whether we go on to work together or not, most people find the consultation helpful.

If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
