Wendy Borrett MBACP(SnrAccred) BSc(Hons)Psych DipCHyp DipCouns DipSupervision
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and a member of the BSCH. I provide online clinical hypnotherapy from my private practice in Sidcup, Kent where I have worked as a therapist for over 19 years. I am also a Senior Accredited Counsellor and Senior Accredited Supervisor with the BACP.
Hypnotherapy, together with my psychological training and experience as a therapist, has enabled me to help people with many situations. I feel that I have a unique insight into many issues and this allows me to tailor each session individually so that I can help you in the most effective way.
I feel that my approach is able to help an individual more quickly than many other therapies and the issues that I deal with vary but include weight management, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, stress, anger, sleep disorders, bereavement, sexual abuse, low self esteem and depression. I also have a particular interest in past life regression.
It is my aim to ensure that all of my clients get the very best treatment available. I would like to help you to change your life for the better.

KL, 38: Dear Wendy, I wanted to write and thank you so much for your amazing help during our few sessions. I cannot believe how "right" you got it for me in every way and how much you understood everything. I have taken on board everything you said and remember every bit. You have helped me so much. My confidence has soared and I feel like a changed person - of course for the better! I am eternally grateful and will never forget.
RL, 37: I first saw Wendy for help with lack of confidence and anxiety, since then she has also helped me to conquer my nerves when attending job interviews, and the latest for my fear of dentists. I have not been able to have dental treatment for over 20 years without feeling any fear, I didn't even need an injection. Hypnotherapy is amazing, it is so subtle but extremely powerful at the same time. I can't recommend Wendy enough, without her I really wouldn't be where I am today and I can't thank her enough.
KD, 56: Dear Wendy, I wanted to take the time to let you know how grateful I am for your wonderful assistance over the last few months. When I first met you I was feeling very depressed; your counselling in conjunction with the hypnotherapy sessions have made a tremendous difference to my life. In particular your empathy, kindness and understanding when I was feeling at a low ebb was invaluable. And, just to let you know, I am still smoke free and feeling much healthier for it!
DG, 28: Dear Wendy, I would just like to say thank you so much for all your help – I have just passed my exams and found your hypnotherapy for exam nerves and study tools invaluable and will definitely return to you should I require any further help.
TP, 16: Dear Wendy, Thank you very much for helping me overcome my needle phobia, it means a great deal to me and my family. I’m now looking forward to going travelling and whatever else I may face (and popping blisters!) with less worries.
EH, 55: I would just like to say a few words about Wendy. I was at a very low point in my life. I had just retired from a very successful career and things seemed to have come to a full stop. I had things that I had not really dealt with from my past that kept stopping me from moving forward. My weight, low self esteem not wanting to enjoy life kept me from being me. With gentle guidance from Wendy with her hypnotherapy and counselling, I can now take those steps. I feel I have been given those tools to rebuild my fractured life again and return to the real me. Wendy is not only professional but I felt like it was talking to a friend. I know I can return or call on her if ever I feel the need for her help if ever I should feel like that again.
NC, 18: I was sceptical at first but the results I have experienced with Wendy through hypnotherapy have been life-changing. Straight away I felt comfortable and at ease with Wendy, and saw results immediately. I will now use Wendy for any future issues I incur, seeing that she solved my original issue with excellence.
