About me

Are you frustrated and struggling with some kind of problem that you just can't seem to sort out yourself? Is your mind not behaving quite the way you want it to, despite your best efforts?

Maybe you feel anxious about things you KNOW you should be able to deal with. Perhaps you have panic attacks, or find yourself changing your life around to avoid things that bother you. Or maybe you are desperate to stop smoking or lose weight, but just feel that it's going to be too hard.

I work with lots of people who need to make a change, whether it's feeling less anxious and more confident, or finally getting rid of that bad habit that's holding you back.  Why not book a free chat with me and find out how I can help you finally get that change you need?

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Further information

I am a friendly and positive person with lots of life experience. I've had my own struggles in the past, so please be reassured that I won't judge you. I particularly specialise in helping people with anxiety and panic attacks to feel normal again.

In my sessions I will take you into a relaxed hypnotic state in which it is easy for you to make positive changes to unwanted behaviours.  I also use other therapies, like EMDR (eye movements) and EFT (tapping), whatever is the best fit for you and the specific issue you are having. It's an interactive process, and I'll ask you to relax and use your imagination in specific ways. I'll also speak directly to your subconscious mind to get the change you need. Hypnosis itself is very relaxing, and most people find Hypnotherapy sessions very pleasant and enjoyable.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me via phone, email, through my Facebook page or my website.

Key details

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

My internal doors measure 29 inches across, so I can only accommodate wheelchairs which are narrow enough to fit. I do not have an accessible toilet. If this is an issue for you, I'm happy to come to your house or do your session online.
