As a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) I adhere to the highest standards in training and follow a strict code of professional ethics and public protection policies. My membership of these associations is also dependent on a commitment to continual professional development and monthly supervision meetings.
It is my thinking that we all have the ability to help ourselves and to thrive to live full and meaningful lives.
Like most living beings we learn, assimilate and adapt according to our environments. Sometimes that learning through experience leads to maladaptive coping strategies which can have an impact on our perception and our way of interacting with the world. Leaving behind in its trail, feelings of demoralisation and hopelessness.
With therapy, those same dormant abilities that we all possess can be brought to life again through the various evidence based approaches in the field of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy.
My mission is to provide clients with the tools to empower them to become their own Therapists to live more full and meaningful lives.
I work with each of my clients to set achievable and realistic goals continuing at a pace which suits them; helping them to feel better and take back control of their lives.
I am committed to my work and abide by the ethics of my profession. It would be a delight to eventually get to know you and to work with you.

Complimentary half hour consultation by phone - This is useful for me as the therapist to gain insight into your requirements and helpful to you, the potential client as it starts to build a good rapport which is essential for a successful outcome. I will offer reassurance and of course answer any concerns or information that you may require.
My usual fee is £80 for a 50 minute session. Please allow up to 90 minutes for the first session. A considerable amount of time is put into preparing each session and follow up which is all covered by the hourly fee.
With guidance, hypnotherapy can enable you to reach a natural state, associable with daydreaming or becoming particularly engrossed in a good book or film.
Thoughts, feelings and behaviour are intrinsically linked, and hypnosis allows the mind to focus to absorb positive suggestions that can guide their interaction. Through rehearsing behavioural change and forming cognitive mindsets, hypnosis can sculpt your mind to achieve its own goals.
Our sessions focus on facilitating philosophical change, through disputing and challenging irrational patterns of thinking and behaviour using evidence based research and interventions which have been proven to demonstrate results within a few sessions.
Sessions take on a collaborative approach which encourages my clients to play an active role in facilitating their change and often give them tasks to do in between sessions.
