About me

Hello, I’m Tracy, a friendly and experienced Solution Focused Hypnotherapist who has been helping people for the past nine years with a large range of issues, so whatever is troubling you, don’t feel embarrassed to seek my assistance. I aim to support you by offering an affordable, compassionate service tailored to your individual needs. I genuinely care about my clients and I want to help each person gain better emotional and mental well-being. I am a registered and qualified clinical hypnotherapist, mindfulness teacher, FE lecturer and Reiki practitioner. I enjoy working with people and helping them to get the best out of themselves and their lives.

I offer in-person appointments as well as secure online sessions via Zoom.

Specialisms

I work with people of all ages. I specialise in women's well-being and the management of anxiety, stress, low mood, overcoming unhelpful thinking patterns, self-limiting beliefs, lack of confidence, fears and phobias.

My approach

My approach is person-centred, caring, empathic and non-judgemental. My therapy room is a private, relaxing, comfortable space in which to offload problems and work toward finding solutions. I provide hypnotherapy recordings for your personal use as well as techniques for coping with anxiety, stress, fears and low mood. Over the past few years, I have enabled many people to achieve successful outcomes and move forward with their lives.

How I work

I use an integrated approach mainly drawing upon Solution Focused Hypnotherapy which:

  • Employs the use of modern, research-based techniques for positive results in a relatively short period of time.
  • Is underpinned by up-to-date developments in neuroscience.
  • Focuses upon what the client wants to achieve rather than the problem
  • Is a positive and active process which engages the client in focusing upon the present and desired outcomes for the future, rather than focusing upon the problem or events of the past.

Having also undertaken training in Counselling and Mindfulness, I am able to use my knowledge and skills in these areas. Being able to use a variety of techniques gives me the opportunity to work in a flexible way. I would always ask for your consent before trying a different technique. No one size fits all. We are all unique and wonderful individuals!

What to expect during a session?

Each session lasts between 50 - 60 minutes. The first half of the session is dedicated to a therapeutic, solution focused discussion which assists you in identifying and working towards solutions. The second part of the session involves hypnosis using a light state of trance to enable you to absorb positive suggestions and achieve your personal goals. However, the sessions are all about you so I provide a bespoke therapeutic service and I can be flexible in the way in which I work.

About me

My background is in education. I have spent many years working in the further education sector as a SEN lecturer as well as a lecturing in health and social care. I am passionate about health, wellness, and the mind body connection. My goal is to help you achieve a state of well-being, whatever that means to you.

Some testimonials from satisfied customers:

"Tracy is a great counsellor and hypnotherapist. She is warm, empathetic and a very good listener. She is really understanding and talks through everything. Her hypnotherapy is unique for you, and it is in a lovely safe, calming space. Highly recommended." PJ

"I started seeing Tracey due to anxiety and belly issues. Tracey is so approachable and calming. She made me feel at ease. Tracey taught me how to deal with my emotions and how to change my thoughts, which sounds scary at first but has really worked. I now know that my brain doesn’t know the difference between thoughts and actual events. I can switch off my anxious thoughts now with the skills taught by Tracey. Tracey regularly told me in our sessions that ‘you can and you will’ and this is now in the back of mind when I start to feel anxious. I couldn’t thank Tracey enough." LG

"Tracy has helped me with very deep seated problems that I have been suffering with for almost 4 years. I cannot begin to express how much better I feel and it's all down to this wonderful lady." MC

"I would thoroughly recommend some sessions with Tracy. Prior to seeing Tracy I felt somewhat stuck in a negative cycle, but now I feel that I can finally move forward." BG

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help over the past few months. Your hypnotherapy sessions have really helped me with my recent depression and have given me the strength and determination to see beyond it. Thank you for all your support, wisdom and advice - you are brilliant at what you do!" SD
