My name is Tony Leake. I lived with anxiety and panic attacks for many years. It took a huge toll on my relationships, my work and both my mental and physical health. Since overcoming my own anxiety, I have spent the last decade helping others to do the same. Perhaps I can help you too?

I do not work in the same way as many therapists, so it would be useful if you read my whole profile before calling me.

- Option 1 – Individual Anxiety Therapy
- Option 2 – Taming and Overcoming Anxiety. A 6 week, online and self-paced programme
- Option 3 – Therapeutic Coaching
Individual Anxiety Therapy. (£97 per session)
This is a mixture of therapy and life coaching. It is most suited to anyone who is experiencing anxiety and is serious about overcoming it.
Although it may vary, most people usually have between 4 and 6 sessions. The first 2 or 3 sessions will usually be weekly with the aim or reducing symptoms as quickly as possible. After that we would usually space out our time together.
Taming and Overcoming Anxiety (£197 one off fee for lifetime access)
A 6 week, online and self-paced programme. Please note this is a pre-recorded course and does not contain any individual coaching or therapy.
This is suitable for anyone who is experiencing mild to moderate anxiety but can function normally most of the time.
The course is taken over 6 weeks to allow what you are learning to settle in and begin to work. It cannot be taken any faster. If you need more immediate help, or if what you’re experiencing is more severe, then I would recommend 1-2-1 help. If you’re unsure, then please get in touch.

Therapeutic Coaching (£147 per session)
Taking this longer-term approach, we can go way beyond what is included in traditional therapy.
Therapy is traditionally about making a problem go away. That is a good thing but so much more is possible.
If therapy is about giving you tools to deal with the ups and downs of life, then coaching is about transformation. Transforming you into the kind of person who doesn’t need tools because they don’t get affected by what is happening around them.
Have you ever met anyone who never seems to get stressed or worried, no matter what is going on? Through coaching I can help you to become more like them.
Once again this is also a mix of therapy and coaching. Our priority will be to deal with whatever symptoms have brought you to this site. Once we have done that, we can move on to redesigning your life on your terms.

The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

I came to see Tony in regards to my very bad Aniexty and stress. I’m very open minded was was willing to try anything to help me. I was very stressed at work and couldn’t keep control of myself , always crying , which was causing more problems with my IBS.
I explained to Tony that I didn’t like being like this an being out of control and not handling day to day things very well. After weeks of Tony helping me with breathing exercises and talking about what was worse for me and listening on how to control my life things changed for the better.
When I first was seeing Tony I was on IBS tablets , now I no longer take them as I realized the stress was causing my IBS to be worse. I suffered with depression, panic attacks and a very embarrassing phobia. I decided to try something different, not knowing much about hypnotherapy. Tony helped me see depression and anxiety from a different perspective and helped me control it, instead of it controlling me.

Background: I had suffered with anxiety, low confidence and self esteem for many years. I had many different therapies with varying degrees of success. However, I still felt ‘stuck’ and unable to move forward with my life. A friend recommended Tony and I began hypnotherapy with some trepidation and skepticism.

Tony has changed both my husbands and my life for the better.
In the past, we have both been hypnotised several times, including helping us to get over phobias. My husband is now comfortable visiting the dentist and heights don’t hold the fear they did for me anymore.
Since our initial meeting many years ago, Tony has always been there for me when I needed him.
A couple of years ago I had a seizure whilst walking in town on my own. Although I couldn’t be hypnotised, using other techniques, Tony gave me back my confidence to be able to go out again without the panic attacks.
Likewise when I got my driving licence back, and having not driven due to the pandemic, Tony again worked his magic. I am now comfortable being behind the wheel again.

This course is the best thing I have ever done! Before starting I would overthink every situation which led me to have panic attacks. The course has given me the techniques, which I practice daily now, to help me manage the situations where I would feel anxious. Tony is amazing and explains everything so everyone can understand.
