About me

Hi my name is Theresa,

What I've noticed in my 20 years of experience working with a variety of different businesses, is that many leaders, managers and staff are completely overwhelmed by the pressure and demands of work.

This is often due to :

Others had placed too much expectation on them

Placing too much pressure on themselves.

The demands of work and life can feel soul-destroying and lead to long term stress and anxiety. Over time, the pressure erodes our confidence, motivation, mental health and even our physical health.
Have you ever felt that you are on a downward spiral with no way out?

The good news is that this cycle can be broken.
Hypnotherapy can help by giving you tools and techniques to help you to manage stress more effectively including; disrupting and removing negative thought patterns, be more resilient, build confidence and increase motivation.

Many people say that they feel calmer and their head feels clearer after hypnotherapy, being able to make better decisions more easily.

A short story about imposter syndrome
(Name has been changed to protect anonymity)

Jenny had just set up her own media consultancy business but was suddenly overwhelmed with feelings of insecurity and expressed feel like a fraud. "Who on earth would want to do business with me? Can I really do this? " she explained during her first session.

Through hypnotherapy,  Jenny was able to identify and discard her negative thinking patterns and replace them with reminders of the skills, knowledge and amazing things she had already achieved. She was able to visualise her goals and build her confidence in her ability to reach them.

Jenny's business is now flourishing and she is confident in her vision for the future.

“The hypnotherapy I had from Theresa has been really helpful in terms of crystallising happy memories and positive thinking, I’m confident that it has and will continue to be beneficial for me in growing my confidence.”

I was once sceptical about hypnotherapy, thinking it was something that only worked on weak-willed people and that it would involve giving someone else control over my mind - I was completely wrong!

During my first year of study, I realised that there are a lot of myths about hypnosis and I completely fell in love with it. I saw the significant difference it can make in people lives. In fact, I love it so much I can't stop talking about it.
I totally understand that you may feel that hypnotherapy is a bit of an unknown and it may not be the right thing for you but would it help to talk to someone who will at least listen and empathise?

“I went to Theresa for hypnotherapy. I was quite cynical at the start but was open to it. I was really surprised at the results. The night after my first session was the best sleep I’d had in months, and it just got better as time went on. It was just a really lovely experience. Very helpful, very relaxing and not at all weird! I’d definitely recommend to anyone to give it a go” – Heidi, Training Manager, Somerset.
