About me

Hello, I’m Tanja, I provide Clinical Hypnotherapy to clients in Southwest London. I practice from The Forge Clinic in Richmond upon Thames. This friendly, multi-disciplinary clinic offers a professional, confidential environment for you to relax and feel safe.

I have more than twenty years of experience in coaching and facilitating change in individual’s mindsets and behaviours. I see clients for a wide range of issues, but my main areas of focus are pain management, weight management (including gastric band hypnosis), symptoms of stress & burnout, emotionally influenced physical symptoms (IBS, migraine, insomnia, psoriasis etc) and women’s health and wellbeing (incl. fertility, birth, menopause).

Please call The Forge Clinic to arrange a free consultation where we can discuss what you would like to achieve from therapy and how we could work together. I look forward to speaking with you.

I practice an integrated, client centred style of hypnosis and I will always tailor the way I work to your specific needs. During our first session together, we will take all the time necessary to understand the issues you are dealing with, establish your therapy goals and your desired outcome of our work together. If you are not yet familiar with hypnosis, I will explain the process and give you plenty of time to get a feel for it and to ask any questions. The following sessions will then be exclusively focussed on the therapeutic work to achieve your goals. I use a variety of hypnotherapy techniques as well as coaching and other complementary therapies such as EFT (tapping) and mindfulness. Hypnotherapy is a ‘brief therapy’, and my aim will always be to get you to a resolution in the shortest time possible.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
