About me

Thank you for visiting my page, my Name is Tanif and I am a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist HPD DSFH MAfSFH GHR(Reg) MNCH(Reg) CNHC(Reg).

I specialise in working with clients experiencing anxiety, stress and low mood. Working in partnership to help clients build confidence and make self-directed choices.

I also see people for:

  • stopping smoking/vaping,
  • weight management,
  • phobias,
  • IBS,
  • insomnia,
  • pain management
  • and building self-esteem.

I also see clients throughout pregnancy to help them relax and prepare for a calm birth.  I am trained in the DR. Muss Rewind technique for PTSD.  I work from my private, purpose built therapy room in Bingley, West Yorkshire, with off-street parking directly outside. Private and confidential service ensured.

**I have taken 2 online Covid safety courses to ensure safety of clients for face to face appointments and I am also seeing clients for online appointments where preferred.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and a fully qualified Holistic Therapist. I trained with the Leeds school of the Clifton Practice for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and whilst on that course I obtained over 180 hours face to face hypnotherapy work. I have also done a basic counselling course and am First Aid Trained.  I am trained in the DR. Muss Rewind Technique. I am currently also volunteering as an NHS Responder. My background is working in Administrative Management with my IAM qualifications and also over 10 years experience working in policing, health and social care (office based). I am a qualified Meditation Practitioner and Holistic Therapist.  I have also run a small Holistic Centre and have run group meetings and workshops.

National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH)

The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.

There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.


Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH)

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.

From £35.00 to £60.00

Additional information

I charge £35 for the Initial Consultation and £60 per subsequent session for adults and young people over the age of 13. 

I charge £160 for stop smoking/vaping - this is for 3 sessions.

I work Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm with a late night clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to 9pm. I can offer weekend appointments and offer online sessions.
