About me

At Straight Forward Hypnotherapy Norwich, I provide friendly, down-to-earth and effective hypnotherapy services to people in the Norwich area.

I love hypnotherapy. It’s incredibly effective at achieving real results – fast. What a lot of people don’t know is that it’s also really quite straightforward. There’s nothing mystical about it. It’s not mind-control. I can’t “hypnotise you to do” anything, and I’ve never even owned a swingy pocket-watch. It’s just a rather pleasant way of using relaxation, focus and language to remove the barriers that are stopping you from getting the most out of life.

Please do get in touch, and we can discuss how we can work together to get you where you want to be.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am fully registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) having been awarded my Hypnotherapy Practitioner's Diploma (HPD) and my NLP Practitioner's Certificate from Joy Gower Training. Earlier in my life I gained a BA (Hons) degree from Cardiff University in English Language and Communication.

I have spent most of my adult life working in education and therapeutic roles, including emotional wellbeing work with children and young adults, as well as parenting courses for parents of teenagers.

Working as a hypnotherapist, I have found the ability to work directly with people to find real, effective solutions to real-life problems hugely rewarding.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*) Hypnotherapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I specialise in the use of hypnotherapy and NLP to help actors with issues such as stage-fright and nerves, line learning and memorisation, as well as getting into the right state of mind to play particular characters.

Fees

Standard sessions last for 1 hour and cost £60.

My specialised stop-smoking programme includes two one hour sessions on consecutive days, an CD/audio file to use at home and a 12-month guarantee, entitling you to a free 'top-up' session any time within the next year, should you feel you need it. This is a proven method to give you the best possible chance of becoming a non-smoker for life.

Further information

I operate a no-risk Straight Forward Guarantee. If, at the end of your first session, you do not feel that Straight Forward Hypnotherapy is going to be beneficial to you and you do not wish to continue, you don't pay a penny for that session!

If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
