About me

Hypnotherapy, Counselling and Past Life Therapy ~ Specialist in Online Therapy.

Hi, I'm Simon, an experienced CNHC and GHR registered therapist and a specialist in working online. I offer a sensitive, supportive and holistic approach to my clients, as well as a no obligation 20 minute consultation before any commitment.

In the current climate, online is remarkably suited to health safety concerns, however I have also found it to be a huge benefit to my clients (and not just in scheduling, convenience and the comfort of home). I switched initially to lower overhead costs and reduce prices, to make therapy more available to more people.

I have since found that face-to-face on screen communication, especially whilst wearing headphones, is a very personal connection and really focusses issues for each individual and the support they need, from a place of safety.

If you would like to find out more about me or how I can help, please get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an established therapist in the holistic field since 2006, my training includes:

  • European College of Hypnotherapy
  • Karuna Institute
  • The Craniosacral Education Trust
  • The School of Shamanic Homeopathy

I am also a member of CNHC, PLTA (Past Life), GHR and GHSC (Hypnotherapy). I also work with Craniosacral Therapy and Homeopathy, and I am a member of ICRA (The International Cranial Association).

Member organisations

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*) Hypnotherapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

"Achieving the long term desire to stop smoking actually has shifted a barrier in my life. I also wanted to thank you, I am so happy to have chosen your hypnosis sessions to transform me from smoker to non smoker. I went away for a weekend with 2 proper smokers and never felt better in my life! It simply did not bother me at all." - Vanessa

"I really benefited with having sessions with Simon. His presence, expertise, warmth and depth helped me unblock alot in my life and regain a sense of wellbeing and balance. Highly recommend working with him!" - Niloo

"I was very skeptical of having therapy online but after trying everything to help with my hip pain I reached out and did have a few online sessions with Simon. It was almost immediately easier to move my joints and the pain lessened leaving me with a lighter feeling and an ability to go about my daily life. I was converted after the first session." Sara

"I've been wanting to tell you that **** was amazingly relaxed and calm after your last session. He always seems quite calm and content after a session with you but this time I thought the effect was particularly striking. I hardly recognised him! Thank you so much, I really think the treatment makes a big difference." - Sarah

"I cannot put into words what a difference you have made to our lives. The whole family has benefitted from the care and changes you have enabled. Thank you!" - Emilia
