About me

I offer one to one and group sessions in person and online !

What can you expect from a session with me? A completely individual service to start with. I don't follow generic programmes because this is your session with your needs, views, desires and outcomes. I am your facilitator but hypnotherapy works best when we work with you and your thoughts, with no judgement.

We get started from session one meaning that you feel the benefits straight away.

What can I support you to achieve ? The answer to this is vast because Hypnotherapy has so many benefits but let me give you an overview. Stress is instantly reduced with hypnotherapy so you will definitely get this benefit, but moving on, we can work on anxiety relief, trauma recovery, depression, and all the complexities that come with these conditions which will be individual to you.

I do a lot of work supporting clients to make lifestyle changes and manage time or work life balance. For example, making healthy food choices, or finding motivation to exercise. Managing time, and self care are among some of the topics we would cover here.

I am also so excited to offer my new wedding packages. If you are getting married you may be expereincing stress and anxiety about many things, such as finances, seating plans, family, you name it ! Hypnotherapy can assist with this, plus my bespoke packages work on confidence building, making a speech, feeling fit and wonderful, and everything in between ensuring that your wedding day is enjoyed fully. Please look at my website for full details.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BSC Honours Degree in Social Work, AIM award in Hypnotherapy & Counselling, UK Hypnosis Academy Hypnosis, and Kinetic Shift award, and I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society.

I have over 20 years’ professional experience working with individuals and groups to effect change including working as a frontline CP Social Worker for 10 years and previous to that as a helpline operator for the charity Parentline Plus.

I also have a great deal of personal life experience that I feel adds an extra element of expertise to my ability to work effectively as a hypnotherapist.

I have knowledge of mental health services and the difficulties this can pose upon people from both my own experience as a sufferer of depression, PTSD and anxiety, and also my sister has schizophrenia so I am aware of the whole system from minor issues to more complex ones.

As a teenager I was a young carer for my mother who dies when I was 15 from breast cancer.I have been a single mother, I have three children, I am a survivor of domestic abuse, my father committed suicide last year and that's just a quick overview.

I do not in any way however assume that I know how anyone else feels. I know that everyone has their own perspective and we all react to situations in our own unique way.

I love what I do, it makes me so happy to meet a client, and in just one hour they walk away feeling better than they did before they walked in. That is why I love hypnotherapy and hope that you do also.
