I’m Sherry, a qualified and registered hypnotherapist based in Stoneygate, Leicester. I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, following rigorous training from the respected HypnoTC company.
I am committed to listening to your difficulties and goals, and supporting you in achieving them with a bespoke course of treatment. This is the most important foundation of my work, developed through previous experience in massage, reflexology and healing, as well as my work in Health Promotion for the NHS.
The continuing success of hypnotherapy in helping with a range of problems never ceases to captivate me. Often issues which have blocked a client’s path for years are resolved in only a small number of hypnotherapy sessions. I believe that changing your mind will change your life, and I will guide you through this process at your own pace.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Postgraduate qualification in Health Education from Bristol Polytechnic and following a successful career with the NHS in Heath Promotion I changed direction and trained and qualified in Remedial Massage with the Northern Institute of Massage and in Reflexology with the UK College (IIHHT Diploma). I have also trained as a Reiki practitioner.
I have trained with HypnotTC, the award winning hypnotherapy training school based in London, and have been awarded their Hypnotherapy Diploma which has been externally assessed and accredited at Practitioner Level by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC/GHR), to ‘Accredited Practitioner Diploma’ Level. I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Council and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare council (CNHC),
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.
