Sarah Sollom - Cricklade

About me

I am a Solution-Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist, practising in Cricklade. Whilst I help people with a wide variety of issues, I have also developed a 3-session course for Weight Loss, with the focus on mindset. This is proving very successful for small groups as well as individuals. This is not about 'diets' and calories! Clients learn about how and why their faulty eating habits are hard-wired into the brain and above all, how to change their thinking in order to develop the ability to make calm, wise choices around eating, in any situation, so it is no longer a battle of will-power. Please contact me for details about 'Weight Loss  - A Mindset Approach'.

I also help people with anxiety, panic attacks, sleep problems, fybromyalgia, pain management, IBS, phobias and anger, to name just a few. Scroll down to see the list! I have had a lot of success working with couples to overcome relationship breakdown.

Formerly a teacher and school counsellor, I am happy to work with children aged 10+ and have an Enhanced DBS certificate. Much of my working life has been about helping people to overcome hurdles and maximise their potential. I have enjoyed teaching children with Special Needs, as well as adult literacy.

My practice is in a comfortable, ground floor room in a private house in a quiet corner of Cricklade. There is parking space in the driveway so you can arrive feeling calm. My clients come from a wide area including Swindon, Purton, Ashton Keynes, Minety and RWB. I offer Skype sessions to people who live further away or are unable to get to me.

My role is to help clients to change negative thought patterns that can cause or exacerbate numerous stress-related conditions and issues. Visualising your preferred future and focusing on a goal is the key.

I trained at the Clifton Practice, Bristol, recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. I continue to benefit from Continuous Professional Development and regular mentoring sessions.

What to expect:  The Consultation is the time for me to ask some non-invasive questions. Then I'll explain how the brain works in relation to the issue you have described and how hypnotherapy can help. We will identify what we are aiming to achieve, discuss the number of sessions you are likely to need and I will answer any questions you may have. You will take away a CD to help you relax. In subsequent sessions we focus on the positive improvements you are experiencing, further identifying how you will reach your goals, followed by a pleasant trance session. Trance is a natural part of everyday life and, as a part of therapy, clients find it very relaxing and pleasant.

We will work together to get the very best out of your sessions. Change your thinking - change your life!
