About me

Seemingly an unusual choice of photo for a Clinical Hypnotherapist, but let me explain…

This photo is a reminder to me, and hopefully inspiration to potential clients, that anything is possible. A few years ago I was suddenly virtually bed bound for 18 months with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Also called ME or more recently SEID) and Fibromyalgia. Unable to even put lights on as they triggered migraines instantly. I was unable to work or continue a long-standing passion of mine, which is kickboxing.

Hypnotherapy dramatically changed my life for the better in many ways, not least by getting me back to full health and allowing me to get back to doing what I love. Knowing how powerful hypnotherapy can be with the right therapist, I decided that this was my true career path. Having worked in schools for most of my adult life as a mentor/counselor and having taught kickboxing for years, I had gained valuable people skills. Re-training as a hypnotherapist was the ideal way to combine these skills with an effective tool for helping others to overcome anything that was preventing them from achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.

I provide a service that is specifically tailored to the needs of each individual client as this is without doubt the most effective way of the client getting what they want/need from the hypnotherapy sessions. I am fully trained and practice in most areas of hypnotherapy. My most refined specialism is recovery from chronic fatigue, ME, SEID and fibromyalgia. You can view my specialist website at http://www.recoverfromcfs-me.co.uk.

I also teach Mind Calm meditation and I'm a Mind Detox practitioner. More details of such are on my specialist website www.recoverfromcfs-me.co.uk

Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
