Samantha Handley dip hyp, dip. couns. BA hons, MA, MBACP (accred), MHS
Hello. I am a fully qualified and accredited Counsellor and Hypnotherpist, trained in both adult and child therapies. I have had experience with issues as diverse as alcohol abuse and working with grief, as well as stress and anxiety, weight management, insomnia and many others.
I have worked for Mind and the NHS, as well as teaching counselling and hypnotherapy for two colleges.
I offer supervision to qualified therapists and students in both hypnotherapy and counselling. I am currently completing a level 7 certificate in supervision to further my knowledge in this area.
Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool and can help with many of life's troubles. As I am a qualified counsellor, as well as hypnotherapist, I can combine these two therapies and create a tailor made session, or group of sessions, for each client.
As well as suggestion work, I specialise in analysis, which is a powerful tool to find underlying issues effecting our lives. Sometimes we don't know why we feel bad or anxious, sometimes underlying causes come out as symptoms like overeating, phobias or just a constant feeling of unease. Analysis can uproot these causes and release them, bringing an overall sense of calm and gives you back your control. It's like a spring clean for the brain!
My therapy rooms are based in Benfleet and also in Chelsea (currently unavailable to new clients), both of which provide a comfortable, confidential environment for you to explore whatever you choose to bring. They are on the ground floor and there is ample off street parking.
I have studied therapy for nine years and I have seen a wide variety of clients and have been able to help them through many issues.
Above all I offer a caring, friendly setting for you to break free of what holds you back, and find your own path to your full potential - Take control of your own life now and make it what you want!
Please contact me for a consultation session so we can plan how to progress.
Always here to guide you through :)
