About me
Hello and welcome
Are you are finding it difficult to cope at the moment? Suffering with a stressful event? Trying to overcome anxiety, having problems sleeping? You may be struggling with a phobia or habit that you cannot break. I provide a safe, non judgemental and confidential environment for you to explore these issues at your own pace.
I am a Certified Hypnotherapist with a particular interest in Weight Management, Alcohol addiction, Menopause Symptoms and Anxiety. I want to help you to overcome any obstacles getting in your way, and move forward on your journey.
I am also a registered and experienced nurse so have had years of experience of helping individuals in times of stress and disruption. I will treat you with compassion and help you reach the root cause of your problem
I have a wealth of experience in person-centred care and a nurturing personality, having experienced life's ups and downs, and sometimes getting lost along the way, enhances my empathy towards others.
I have always been interested in the mind and how it works. How people act and respond in different situations fascinates me. I also experienced personal trauma, where I realised the benefits of hypnotherapy first hand. I know this was a career pathway I wished to pursue.
I offer a person-centred approach, working with you to achieve your goals, overcome any issues.
My particular areas of interest are menopause management, weight management/alcohol consumption and anxiety/self-esteem.

- Bsc/RGN nursing- having worked in the NHS for over 25 years . Specialising in Critical Care /Oncology. Recently working in Critical Care through the pandemic.

The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
