About me

Covid-19 has caused many extra stresses and strains in life. Whether you are struggling with pre-existing issues, or difficulties from this challenging time, hypnotherapy is powerful and can make lasting changes to your life.

Since the first lockdown, I have been working on Zoom (as well as face to face appointments, when not in lockdown). My clients and I have been delighted at the effectiveness of Zoom hypnotherapy. Clients report many extra benefits such as saving travel time and being in their own environment where they feel very comfortable. I offer a free 15-minute Zoom consultation to help you decide if you’d like to work with me.

Are you overwhelmed with anxiety, self-doubt or stress? Have you been battling to lose weight to stop smoking or with other difficulties? Do you feel your issue has control over you?

Hypnotherapy with me is a collaborative process. I have a forward looking approach; discussing with clients what they are aiming for, then using the power of hypnosis to help them work towards their goals.

My method is often based on Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy techniques, looking at the close relationship between how we think, feel and act. The underlying theory is: our thoughts often determine our emotions and behaviour. I work with clients to help them change their thought patterns, thus their emotions and behaviours change too. I combine this with my training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) – a really positive approach to looking at life, issues and possibilities.

Each session will be individually tailored to your specific needs and what you wish to achieve, I do not use a blanket approach, I very much respond to what you tell me.

I have a special interest in therapy for IBS, insomnia, anxiety and habit reversal, but happily offer therapy for many other issues/conditions as well.

I’m very motivated by helping people free themselves from issues and difficulties that have been holding them back. I love hypnotherapy because it is simple yet powerful and can make positive and lasting changes to people.

Have a look at the testimonials on my website (https://www.hypnotherapywithruth.co.uk/ruth-hazeldine-hypnotherpy-testimonials) to see what clients have said about their experience of working with me.

A key factor in achieving successful results in hypnotherapy is choosing a hypnotherapist who is right for you. It is important that you feel comfortable with your hypnotherapist and able to be open and honest with them. This is why I offer a free, no obligation, 15-minute consultation to all new clients. This way, you can chat about the issue that you would like to address and ask questions about hypnotherapy with me, before booking a session.
