I was classically trained hypnotherapist practicing for a couple of years before discovering the power of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. The results spoke for themselves - in just a few sessions people were really turning their lives around, getting on with things, resolving long standing issues and letting go of anxieties, phobias, fears and frustrations that might have troubled them for years, sometimes decades.
Having retrained I work almost exclusively using Solution Focused Hypnotherapy because it is acknowledged as one of the most effective and quickest ways of addressing anxiety, panic attacks and stress AND my clients get results.

The number of sessions required depends on your individual needs and circumstances. Many clients find 'block booking' 6 or 12 sessions up front is a powerful way of getting their treatment underway positively.

FREEDOM - Smoking Cessation is normally a 1 off session of between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, plus free relaxation CD to take away with you. £200

Richard has been truly amazing in helping me to overcome my anxiety. It suddenly appeared from nowhere, so much so that I didn’t even recognise what was happening to me. During the middle of last year I had an immense build-up of stress across all areas of my life, which I thought I was handling well. Clearly this wasn’t the case and as the weeks went by, everything started to shut down to the point that I could no longer function. I felt very stuck and couldn’t see how I could ever start to get better.
It was at this point that I started to see Richard. Initially we had a call to discuss my specific issues and Richard explained how he would be able to help. I felt very reassured by Richard’s calm, compassionate and gentle nature and the high caliber of his experience and qualifications as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with a degree in Psychology.
Immediately after my first session with Richard I knew that the help and support I needed was definitely there. I felt very comfortable sharing and discussing my issues in confidence. He never judged me and showed complete empathy towards my situation. He also understands first-hand about anxiety and associated issues, which made is so easy to talk openly and find resolutions.
At the beginning Richard and I discussed and agreed a customised plan for me incorporating a number of counselling and hypnotherapy techniques. I found them very constructive, yet at the same time incredibly relaxing and effective. During hypnotherapy, I sometimes didn’t want to open my eyes at the end of the session as I felt so peaceful and stress-free. He adapted each session according to my requirements on that particular day, after he talked through how I felt. He was always very clear about what technique he was going to use so I knew what was going on at all times.
I am so grateful to Richard for all the help that he has given me. After only three months, I am back to myself – confident, bubbly and my cheeky sense of humour has reappeared. He also taught me how to take care of myself and showed me how to manage my expectations and that of others to ensure my ongoing wellbeing. This has definitely worked and my perspective of myself, my life as well as the situations that life throws at you has changed for the most positive. I no longer worry or feel down and am able to manage everything in a much healthier and holistic way.

I have chronic chest pain which can be severe and the doctors do not know exactly what is causing it.
Through relaxation and the different methods that Richard showed me, I was able to control my pain much better.
I was truly amazed at the power of relaxation and the “ tapping” technique Richard showed me. My pain was always around a level 6, however in hypnosis I was able to get my pain down to a 1 and sometimes it went away completely!
Hypnosis is extremely relaxing and what I liked about it the most was, Richard gave me a “ personalised ” program. I was able to apply what Richard showed me at home and it truly helped.

I felt that anxiety was getting the better of me and effecting my daily life and progressively getting worse to a point where I didn’t want to go places or on occasions even work.
I booked an appointment with yourself and had the initial consultation, in which you made me feel comfortable even though I had been a sceptic of hypnotherapy previously.
After our discussions and you getting an understanding of what would work regarding the therapy I started feeling less anxious about the whole process, although I did have up and down days.
Once we had started the treatment I did feel that slowly I was able to on occasions control the anxiety and it was me creating the situation in my head. I think then after the we felt we had got to a point where I was able to control the anxiety through breathing, mind and generally having a word with myself, you then told me that there was no need to see you again unless I had some reoccurring issues (which I haven’t to date) although there are always going to be situations where anxiety will be there is just the control which you taught me.
I feel that I have full control of the anxiety and am able to do what I want when I want thanks to you…
I have and would definitely recommend you to other people with any issues not just anxiety which could be treated through hypnotherapy.
