About me

I am a highly qualified and experienced clinical hypnotherapist and mental health specialist with over ten years of experience. My clients find the freedom they are looking for and I am privileged to help them make their desired change, often exceeding expectations. My enthusiastic and gentle approach to mental health allows me to work successfully with many different issues including anxiety, phobias, weight loss, social anxiety, stress management, depression and sleep disorders.

Using my in-depth knowledge of hypnotherapeutic and behavioural approaches including psychotherapeutic, psychoanalytical, cognitive behavioural and psycho-educational - I am able to tailor each individual treatment plan to you to ensure the best therapeutic outcome possible.

I am registered with both the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and I abide by their code of practise and ethics.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my training with the prestigious London College of Clinical Hypnosis and University of West London where I studied my foundation diploma and Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I have also completed my MSc degree in Hypnosis in Medicine, Research and Clinical practise in the psychology department of Bournemouth University. I have been working in mental health for several years, in particular working one on one with students either in crisis or with ongoing mental health issues and disabilities at Falmouth and Exeter Universities.

My passion for the science of our incredible minds has enabled a continuation of my academic research in neuropsychology and hypnosis with the Royal Society of Medicine, University of Bournemouth and Royal Cornwall Hospital.

I also have two BA hons in Italian and Contemporary World Music.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I specialise in anxiety, social anxiety, self-esteem and self confidence issues - allowing you to be empowered, confident and move forward with your life in a positive way that is just right for you.
