About me

Working in the centre of Bury St Edmunds giving easy access from Newmarket, Thetford, Woolpit and Sudbury - easy parking close-by.

I am a specialist therapist coach counsellor guiding people through and recover from Mental Health problems/issues - helping Adults, Parents and Teenagers through Stress Anxiety and Depression.

With 25 years experience I also weight loss, Stop Smoking, food addiction, sexual issues, fear of flying, eating disorders, insomnia, phobias, low self-confidence, panic attacks, low self-esteem, obsessions, compulsions, irritable bowl syndrome (IBS), stress, anger management, relationship issues, exam nerves, relaxation to name a few. If you problem is causing you stress then generally my therapy will help.

I cannot guarantee Weight Loss; however, I find what it is that is making you overeat or binge eat - once this problem is released most people are then able to eat sensibly or follow a diet without the usual problems - I put you back in control. If your therapist guarantees Weight Loss, ask to see the guarantee and ask for your money back if it does not work! If we can get your thoughts in line about Comfort Eating and Over Eating the rest is easy!

Depression, Anxiety and Fear are areas I am passionate about and have found that my slightly different style of Hypnotherapy (combining it with deep release work) has worked and people are now free from depression, anxiety and feel calm/happy.

I get postcards from all over the world from grateful clients who see me with Fear of Flying (plus other phobias) and they find that flying is OK, in some cases fun!

Working with Children is a privilege and I have helped many regain confidence, become more relaxed about exams, overcome bedwetting, deal with Anger and behavioural problems - plus many other areas! I suggest in the first instance that parents come and see me for a Free 20 minute consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

Trained originally at The Cambridge College of Hypnotherapy.

Then with some of the Top Hypnotherapists in the world to ensure that I am able to keep growing and be the at the top of my profession. I have trained with Cal Banyan for 5PATH and 7th Path Self Hypnosis, Matt Sison and Randy Shaw for Release work, Jamie Smart, Ian McDermott for NLP and Jan Elfine for Coaching as well as a mass of others to make sure that I keep growing.

EFT I learned from Gary Craig, EMDR , Psytap and Kinetic Shift training as I help a number of soldiers who have returned from abroad who are suffering from PTSD.

Continued Development is something I am serious about and because of this I mentor other therapists and supervise them to make sure that they are continually improving.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Further information

I do not put Testimonials on my sites as they are not what I am about. Testimonials are generally thought of as unprofessional in most industries as people would not publish a bad Testimonial only their good ones - therefore they can be misleading.

If a Hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Working in a pharmacy I have professionals on call to assist should they be needed.
