Why I practice Hypnotherapy
I found Hypnotherapy when a series of life changing events left me in despair and not knowing where to look for help. Anxiety and depression soon manifested themselves in physical problems which hindered me in my quest to move forward. I tried a number of therapies with varying degrees of success and I found that Solution Focused Hypnotherapy empowered me, allowed me to 'change my outlook' and helped me to focus in a positive way on the future.
I decided to train as a Hypnotherapist as a way to help others to overcome obstacles in their life. I found it to be an incredible tool to help people get the best outcomes. I started my training with the Kew Training Hypnotherapy School and on completion of my Certificate of Hypnotherapy Practitioner I continued my study at The Clifton Practice of Hypnotherapy Training. I have also completed my Neuro Linguistic Programming Level 1.
My training is rigorous and ongoing. I have achieved my DSFHP (Diploma in Solution Focus Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy) and HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma) the 'Gold Standard of Hypnotherapy' accredited jointly by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and NCFE (National Council for Further Education).
Client confidentiality is important and absolute and I have been Enhanced Disclosure DBS Checked for your peace of mind. I thoroughly enjoy helping my clients to reach their goals and make the most of their lives by taking control. Whatever the reason that you come to see me, from weight management to anxiety and depression to personal performance hypnotherapy can help.
