About me
I am a qualified both as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and as an Integrative Counsellor. I worked in mental health services in the NHS for over thirty years and have a wide experience of dealing with people with most forms of mental distress and illness. For many years I worked as a highly specialist nurse in a team treating people with eating disorders.
In my private practice I now continue to focus on primarily working with anxiety related difficulties. The challenges of life are far more complex and anxiety provoking than they have ever been. Hypnotherapy works powerfully to allow us to adapt and work skillfully and effectively.
I continue to also specialise in helping anyone with complex anxiety related conditions - in particular phobias, obsessive compulsive behaviours, low self-esteem/confidence, post-traumatic anxiety and eating/weight concerns.
I provide Continuous Professional Development training at the Clifton Practice in working with people with disordered eating.
I also focus on providing anxiety management to professionals working in public services as I recognise the pressures involved in these areas.
CORONAVIRUS POLICY
In line with Government policy and guidelines from my professional organisation, I am only offering online hypnotherapy for the foreseeable future. Hypnotherapy can be delivered very successfully using video conferencing. Please contact me for more information.
