I can work online via Zoom, Facetime, Skype or telephone to help with trauma, anxiety and stress using BWRT. This is a very quick and effective way of working which is perfect for working online with trauma, stress, anxiety, phobias and all addictions. I started training as a Hypnotherapist and Hypnoanalysis many years ago. During the '70's I worked with GP's in the national health service. I was concerned about the use of so many addictive drugs and felt that there had to be another way.
I started to study hypnotherapy and found that this was the answer I was looking for, in order to help with all the inner anxieties that people were experiencing. . I also studied counselling and addiction counselling and worked full time as an Addiction Counsellor, dealing with drug addiction, alcoholism, food disorders, exercise addiction, in fact all addictions and during the 11 years of working full time in the Priory hospitals I have also run a family therapy programme to help family members. I am also a trained practitioner in Brainworking Recursive Therapy, having completed levels 1 & levels 2 of the BWRT training and am a founder member of the Brainworking Research Society.
I believe that analysis, using hypnosis can be of great benefit to anyone suffering from any stress related problems. I run a private practice, where I offer a free initial consultation. This is so that we ascertain that we can work together and also how I would work with you. It is also to make sure that you feel comfortable with me, because it is very important that you feel safe.
I offer a free initial consultation and, at the end of this, I say whether I believe I can help with the issue you came with in 1 session or whether it will take more than one session. After this, if you agree, we enter into the first session. I charge £40 per session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I started my training, many years ago, with the International Association of Hypnoanalysts, who subsequently became known as the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts. I have also become a member of the Association of Professional Hypnotherapists.
I trained at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation to become a counsellor and then went on to do a Post Graduates course in Addiction Training at Clouds House. I have worked in the Priory Woking, North London Priory, and the Priory Roehampton as an addiction counsellor full time.
I also worked in Hope House and for RAPt in Wandsworth Prison to help prisoners with addiction to get a healthy life. I have run a family therapy programme for some years and have worked many years alongside this as a private hypnotherapist and hypnoanalyst. I also completed all the training to become an EMDR Practitioner. You will see from my website all my qualifications.
