HPD, DFSH - Anxiety Specialist / Online / Day & Eve

About me

Are you looking to regain control over your life and overcome the many issues that prevent you from becoming the best version of yourself? It may be anxiety, poor self-esteem, low mood, a phobia, troublesome habits or something else holding you back.  If you are ready to set new goals and focus on the future then let us explore the resources you already have available in order to bring about change and help you reach your preferred future.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses talking therapy techniques; Solution Focused Brief Therapy, CBT and NLP which are used in combination with clinical hypnosis.  The latter is a highly effective form of relaxation allowing you to narrow your focus towards your preferred future.  Being 'solution focused' means exactly that - we do not dwell on the past but only on the present and future.

The format for standard sessions is usually as follows:

  • Initial Consultation lasting up to 90 minutes where we explore your best hopes
  • Subsequent sessions* lasting up to 60 minutes will include the opportunity to reflect on 'what has been good', review your 'best hopes and preferred future' and experience the positive benefits of trance

* The number of sessions required is decided by you, the client.

My specialist interests are assisting people to overcome anxiety, sleep issues, work-related stress and working through the menopause.

The sessions are sensitive, collaborative, engaging and can include humour, laughter and most definitely positivity.

I currently work with adults only

"Allow yourself to see what you don't allow yourself to see" (Milton H Erickson)

The hypnotherapy with Patsy was very enjoyable and enlightening. I admit I was a bit sceptical at first on how this could work….but it did. It was not at all difficult, simply training my mind to think differently and changing a few habits. Just a few simple steps, always focusing on positivity. I looked forward to my weekly sessions. I definitely overcame a few hurdles with ease and I would love to explore some more; I would highly recommend.

Firstly I would like to thank Patsy for her solution focused hypnotherapy sessions. I felt a great benefit even after the first session, I noticed how much calmer I was feeling. Her insight and skills helped me to resolve some deep issues and as a result I am feeling so much better. She has such a personable manner and so easy to talk to! I have no hesitation in recommending Patsy. (Tracy)

Empowering, insightful, calming and safe are how I describe my hypnotherapy experience with Patsy. Initially I was nervous, not knowing what to expect but I needn’t have worried because Patsy is so very easy to talk with. She helped me to understand my thought processes and equipped me with ways to break the patterns which had caused my anxieties. Her calming hypnotherapy left me feeling rested and ready too, not just to face life, but to embrace it once again; something for which I will be ever grateful. If you’re looking for someone who will listen, explain, support and actually make a difference then I happily recommend Patsy. (Teresa)
