About me

I'm Natalie Smith, a professional online hypnotherapist. As an empathic person, I've always made it my duty to help others and have always seen it as my purpose. I describe myself as a creative person, which helps with the description and imagery during sessions. Outside of work I enjoy art, music and going on long country walks.

What to expect at your initial consultation

Consultations and sessions take place via ZOOM from the comfort of your own home. All clients are treated with respect from all backgrounds, religions and cultures as well as individuals part of the lgbtq+ community. I am particularly good with nervous clients as my genuine and understanding nature will put you at ease.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Being in a state of hypnosis is like being on "autopilot". It's something we've all experienced before, for example, when driving home from work or being able to have a conversation whilst simultaneously taking in what's happening on a TV programme.  It's the stage just before sleep where the conscious mind is resting but the subconscious mind is active and ready to take in important information.

Will you be able to control me?

The simple answer is no. Hypnotherapists are completely different to stage hypnotists. I can't make you do or think anything you are uncomfortable with, you would bring yourself out of hypnosis completely.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on why you have come for hypnotherapy. Treating clients to quit smoking takes just one 2 hour session (after the initial consultation) and other sessions can take up to 8 sessions ie weight management and phobias.

If you have any further questions or are completely new to hypnotherapy, feel free to send me a message or give me a call.
