About me

Hello thank you for reading my profile, as an experienced therapist working for the NHS and Privately, and having work in the medical profession for over 25 years, I offer a warm and comforting environment. Over many years I have helped individuals with anxiety, stress, worries and fears. I have a keen interest in helping clients overcome anxiety, stress, family and relationship issues, youth counselling, fertility and women's health issues,  pregnancy+post natal care and post natal depression.  Overcoming phobias and habits (eating disorders, weight problems, control issues). Addictions can be helped with clinical hypnotherapy gaining a sense of control and understanding, I have experience with exam nerves, driving test worries and fear of flying.

Try hypnotherapy it is such a beneficial experience that can shift negative behaviour patterns giving you, you back  with techniques and tools.

Nervous about a dental procedure or medical procedure or operation? Therapy can help you to overcome and manage your fear.

Relaxation can help with stress, anxiety and sleep depravation/insomnia.  I offer specifically tailored relaxation sessions over an hour that can help you unwind and feel at ease escaping from the hectic world we live in and taking some time out for you that will really benefit you. Aiding more calmness and serenity in your life with self help and tools that will help you gain a deeper more beneficial sleep.

Anxiety can build up and something then triggers it to become uncontrollable at times, Hypnosis can help this in many ways, we can work with techniques to help control the anxiety and then look at the issues that caused the anxiety to begin, eventually giving you a balanced and settled way to be more in control of your life and manage these all consuming feelings.

I specialise in therapy for women's health, fertility/Infertility, pregnancy and pregnancy loss, miscarriage anxiety and gynaecological conditions. I am keen to help with the rollercoaster that these issues bring, with the therapy I offer helping you to learn to explore your feelings, worries and fears. With relaxation helping you to have better control and by learning to nurture and care for yourself with a real focus helping with any emotional blocks so that your mind is in the best place possible. Hypnosis helps you imagine your body responding with each stage with visualisations of the outcome you desire, you gain a sense of deep relaxation and acceptance with self help and affirmations life will become happier, more controlled and you will be more nurtured and ready for wonderful changes to happen.

Pregnancy, post natal care, birthing preparation, new motherhood-baby care and low mood post natal depression are areas I specialise in, also working with many previous and current clients through many stages research has shown how clinical therapy and counselling helps overall wellbeing and mental health throughout pregnancy birth and in new motherhood giving approaches and ways of managing an often unknown surge of feelings and hormones. Therapy provides support and a place to talk and be heard.

I also run a free fertility and women's health support group in Farnham for the Surrey and Hampshire area offering a place for women men and couples to talk, be listened to and be supported with those who understand, last Thursday of the month- please contact me at freeyourmindfertility@gmail.com if interested.

I have worked in the dental and medical field with men women and children who were nervous and worried patients, by helping them to overcome their phobias and fears before procedures operations and treatments, using learnt techniques and tools. Many medical conditions can be helped with clinical hypnosis and therapy, blood pressure, IBS, eating disorders, tension illnesses to name a few, its proven also with to help with bruxism and snoring issues.

I myself have benefited from Hypnosis and it really benefitted my life in many ways, it is powerful and can help you overcome problems so you can be more in control of your life.

Hormonal issues and menopausal symptoms, their related anxieties and stresses can also be helped and treated with hypnotherapy, as can many other medical conditions like irritable bowel syndrome as you learn to become more relaxed and in control the symptoms that can be crippling lessen helping with your day to day life.

I work in Farnham Surrey and Putney London and cover the surrounding areas.

I offer a free initial consultation to see if I can offer therapy that's right for you.

Further information

A unique approach just for you I am very keen to help others overcome anxiety's and fears. Therapy can help in many ways to re establish control and calmness helping us to cope with the stresses and issues we face, learning to break habits and form new ways of thinking that then become our normal behaviours, with personal experience myself and those of patients and clients i have worked with, it can be invaluable for you to explore and have therapy to have a greater well-being and you.

Having had a career in the Dental and oral surgery field I spent many years supporting comforting and helping patients to deal with complex and involved procedures and operations.  Helping many to overcome their anxieties and fears I also thought hypnotherapy and counselling was something I would like to do.  Five years ago I began to study for such after having had personal fertility problems and seeing the need for counselling and therapy within this area, it personally helped me and others I know. I was also aware of how therapy and counselling could also help many who suffer from anxiety, worries and nerves within the medical field.

I have since volunteered for a family charity where I have learnt greatly and can see the demand for hypnotherapy and counselling within all the dynamics of family life and relations within it. So I have a interest in family and relationship issues.

I also work for Anxiety Uk offering hypnotherapy and counselling.  Having had training for Anxiety, panic disorders, depression and generalised anxiety disorders as well as post-traumatic stress disorder and phobias.

Hypnotherapy is a natural occurring altered state, a deep relaxation is achieved, your active mind then rests, allowing your unconscious mind to listen. Deep relaxation can help alleviate stress, subtle suggestions are made which help changes to occur. It has been proven in many studies to help with many issues.

However long you have been afraid, whatever the cause, you can learn to feel different a good positive experience gets rid of all of the negative ones you have had, you will have a calmness, contentment and positivity you can use in many situations you may find yourself in.

My many years experience and my vast knowledge, helps me to offer you the best possible approaches for whatever issues you may be having, Many of my previous patients and clients have been helped greatly you really can overcome the things that are preventing you from being who you'd like to be without the worry and fear and the time in your life it wastes. Start to make the changes by contacting me and we can discuss what may be the best approach for you.

Many past and present clients are benefiting from the treatments you could too, relaxation itself can benefit you greatly.

Please contact me and we can discuss further by email or phone.

I look forward to hearing from you
