About me
Hi! I am Michaela (you can call me Ki) and I am a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist, counsellor and secondary school teacher based in the West Bridgford area, and I’m here to support you in removing your inner barriers and awakening your potential.
Choosing a hypnotherapist
There are often many hypnotherapists to choose from in a particular area and with the increased use of online sessions, location is no longer a factor. This can make the choice a daunting one. As long as an individual is suitably qualified, insured, registered with a recognised professional body and holds enhanced DBS (if working with children and vulnerable adults) then it all comes down to who you feel comfortable with. If you have a good rapport and feel at ease then you will be better able to open up about your concerns, which will help your hypnotherapist tailor their approach to your individual needs. It will also allow you to more easily achieve the deep relaxation required for effective changes to be made.
How I can help
Specialising in confidence, stress and anxiety, I can help clients feel calm, self assured and in control. My psychology and education background have equipped me with the knowledge and experience to be able to assist in treating many different issues, particularly for young people, as well as my counselling experience. I hope you will see that I am kind, genuine and able to put you at ease as you make the important step in seeking help with life’s challenges.
What continues to amaze me about hypnotherapy is the wide range of issues that can be addressed in a relatively short space of time, not to mention the pleasant and relaxing experience for clients during the process itself. Who couldn't do with more relaxation in their life?
