About me
My aim is to help you find what's best for you. It's a big decision and you may be wondering what is the best type of treatment for you, and who would be the best therapist to work with. I believe that meeting each other face to face is the best way to make the best decision. I work via Zoom or Skype and can help you set up if you're new to using these video calls.
That's why I offer a free initial consultation. We take about 30 minutes to discuss what you want help with and how we would work on it. There is no obligation - you decide what is best for you. All that I ask is that you allow up to 90 minutes and be prepared to pay the fee in case you decide to start there and then.
I've been in practice since 2006 and believe so strongly in getting to the root cause and fully resolving it that, in all these years, that always has been, and remains, the only way that I work. A couple of examples spring to mind. We wouldn't expect pain-killers to be a long-term solution to tooth-ache. We'd go to the dentist to have the decay fixed.
We might find that simply replacing the car battery is all that's needed when the car won't start. We could replace the battery, find that one goes flat as well, and then learn that there was a different fault, like the alternator, the starter motor or even a loose connection.
With something as important as our own well-being, I believe it's better to aim for full resolution and leave the 'quick fixes' for the less important minor details in our day-to-day life.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Your first session will last 60 to 90 minutes.
Each additional session will last 45 to 60 minutes.
Saturday and Evening appointments can be available upon request, please contact me to check availability.
