Martyn Eaves, Cert. Hyp CS, MHS
Having undergone a great deal of personal therapy over many years and attending courses in counselling and hypnotherapy, I am able to use much of my experience and training to provide help with many issues my clients come to me with. I also have experience in teaching mindfulness, nutritional advice and life coaching which I can combine with my hypnotherapy practise when appropriate.
I can provide hypnosis for many issues including:
- stress management
- stop smoking
- weight loss (including a 4 week hypno-gastric band program)
- anger issues
- pain relief
- sleep disturbance
This list is not exhaustive but covers the most common areas. Additionally, I can help with childbirth and more and more mothers are taking up hypnosis for this purpose - see below for a more complete list of issues hypnotherapy can help with.
Where my clinics are and home visits
I provide these services at clinics in Bognor Regis and Felpham but can also attend a clients home under if required. Skype or other online methods can also be used.
What to expect in the initial consultation
During the initial consultation, a client history will be taken and treatment plan proposed. A short hypnosis will also take place at the initial consultation and subsequent sessions will normally include a minimum of 30 minutes hypnosis tailored to the client's needs.
Any concerns you may have can be explored in the first session - e.g. if you have worries about what hypnosis actually entails. A common misconception is that you will give up control to the hypnotherapist and this is simply not true.
Stop smoking sessions are different in that they consist of a single 110 minute session during which a 45 to 50 minute hypnosis takes place - if you want hypnosis for stopping smoking please contact me for more details.
Further information and contact
Clients are encouraged to contact me by telephone or email to discuss, briefly, their needs/issues and then, if required, an initial consultation can be arranged (stop smoking sessions are normally single 2-hour sessions).
If you would like any further information or have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact me -if phoning please leave a message if no answer and I will return your call as soon as I can.
Hypnosis can help in many areas, my particular interests are IBS, anxiety and depression (some forms will require your GP's agreement to undertake hypnosis) and I also use mindfulness techniques for the reduction of anxiety and for depression - this can work very well in conjunction with hypnosis.
