My aim is to help you help yourself in overcoming your problem and for this to be a long and lasting change.
As a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) I adhere to the highest standards in training and follow a strict code of professional ethics and public protection policies. I am also registered with the Complementary and National Healthcare Council (CNHC). My membership of these associations is also dependent on a commitment to continual professional development and monthly supervision meetings.
I evolved my interest in self-development and helping others via my work within the media industry, where I served both public service and commercial companies. Promotion from technical roles into managing teams and motivating individuals towards achieving targets and succeeding in their own personal goals.
That’s when my initial interest in learning coaching methods to help others was ignited.
I was drawn to Cognitive Hypnotherapy because of the therapeutic help it provides as a multi-discipline in helping people in so many ways to achieve change. In particular helping them recover from stress and anxiety to lead healthier, happier lives.

Smoking & Vaping Cessation Specialist:
I am trained in The Simmons Method - which is based on the latest cutting-edge Neuro-scientific research on how smoking affects the landscape of the brain, which hijacks the internal motivation and reward system making it difficult to stop the smoking. The Simmons Method aims to help you understand much more about what is happening to you, and this training enables me to create bespoke treatments which can help you to break all the unique associations that trigger the smoking in you. Breaking unwanted habits:
Many of my clients have been successful at taking back control and overcoming their unwanted habits. Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective treatment for helping people with all sorts of addictive behaviours including, smoking, poor eating habits, addiction to cola drinks, nail biting and thumb sucking, skin picking, and pulling hair.
Emotional issues: Stress, anxiety, panic attacks and low mood, depression and trauma.
We explore how you perceive and experience your problem and work towards making positive changes over a series of sessions, which can enable you to manage your own response to your stress or anxiety. Encouraging a better understanding of what you could achieve with the ability to relax and be much more in control. Gradually and at your own pace, you can move towards your solution state, by drawing upon your own resources and learning new ones that can help you.

Clients who have worked with me across a secure video connection have found the sessions just as beneficial as being inside a physical office location. All you require is a PC, Mac, laptop or tablet with a sturdy rest, and a stable broadband connection.

Many issues can lend themselves to online therapy very well. Busy lives mean it can sometimes be difficult to travel to different locations even if you are situated in the same county.
It may be that a client lives in another part of the UK or even another country and would like to connect with a therapist who specializes in their issue. UK Law applies to all, including global clients. As a preference, I use Zoom conferencing as my video link option. Which means the client doesn't have to have an app on their desktop. It's also secure and complies with UK regulation and GDPR (confidential data and privacy) rules.

Taking the first step: Initial assessment conversation with all prospective clients at no charge. Everything I do is tailored toward you personally because all clients are unique.
It's usual to have an initial telephone assessment and consultation for prospective clients. There is no obligation or charge for this service, which may run up to 30 minutes. This enables me to listen to you and gain a better understanding of your situation and how best to support you.
This may mean a series of sessions within a framework, a journey which includes other resources tools and interventions, for you to learn and keep. I would outline the specifics during our conversation.
Fees: Depending on the venue, fees can equate to between £80 to £85 per visit - depending on the initial journey package we agree. (For example, pay up front for an initial journey of three sessions £250, then continue by paying for two in advance at £170, (unless its a final session which would be a single rate of £85), or book to continue with a further three sessions with the discount. Seeing me is just one part of a journey package which includes, a set amount of meetings with me, and includes my preparation or recording time outside of sessions. For example,...
Your journey package includes Any MP3 recordings I prepare uniquely for you to listen to at home. Any documentation for your toolkit, as a reminder. If required (during a paid journey), the option for a between-session phone catch up to 20 minutes at no additional charge. The package included email, phone or text communication.
* Duration of each session is up to 75 minutes. Meeting-up starts weekly and may move to fortnightly or, depending on your progress, monthly. A journey can be extended as appropriate to your needs.
How many sessions: This is client dependent, some people go at a faster pace, whilst others need a more incremental pace of improvement. As a generalised guide, and depending on your issue, some clients require between 4 to 10 sessions. The average is around 6 sessions.

Specialist Smoking Cessation: Usually completes in across two sessions, which are one week apart all included within the one fee. The fee is dependant on your choice of venue, i.e London venue or an online stop smoking package.
