About me

Hi, I am Margaret Oakley, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. I specialise in stress and anxiety related issues and weight loss. I also have experience and training in a range of conditions including sleep issues, fertility and IBS.

I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to discuss how I can help and support you and a free relaxing download.

I have a clinic in South Liverpool but work nationally and internationally online via Zoom which is secure and easy to use. I very much enjoy working online and my clients have found it to be a very positive experience.

I enjoy working with adults and young people and have achieved outstanding results due to the effective techniques I use which make the process positive and life enhancing.

I use Solution Focused techniques which are based in the latest research in neuroscience and brain research combined with hypnosis to produce fast, long lasting results.

During the initial breakthrough consultation I will ask some key questions in order to personalise your treatment plan and the we will explore how the brain works and how this effects your symptoms and experiences. You will have a chance to ask questions and I will give you a free download to listen to at night which will help the process enormously. Many clients notice great improvement in how they feel even after this first session, they feel a real 'breakthrough'.

During further sessions we talk with each other for 25 minutes followed by a 25 minute relaxing trance which allow you to make great progress in the shortest amount of time. We will discuss a treatment plan and together decide the number and frequency of sessions you require. usually I see clients for between 4 and 12 appointments.

The whole process is positive and I aim to make it as enjoyable as possible. The work we do together looks to the future rather than dwelling on the past.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.
