About me

Rapid Transformation Therapist and Hypnotherapist

I run a hypnotherapy practice based in Lilliesleaf in the Scottish Borders and I also have an Edinburgh base as well as providing sessions online via Skype and Zoom.  I provide effective help to people experiencing problems which affect their health and wellbeing.

I am a qualified Analytical Hypnotherapist as well as Rapid Transformation Therapist which allows me to work with the client to find the route, reason and cause of their difficulties.  I then use powerful techniques to release any emotional blocks and help them make permanent changes by using positive conditioning which is recorded and sent to the client so they can enjoy listening to it in the comfort of their own home also.

I specialise in anxiety and depression relief, however I also see many clients for weight loss and fears and phobias.

Most clients only need to see me once, however, some need up to 3 sessions.

It was my positive experience in using hypnotherapy personally in the past which ultimately led me to study the powers of hypnotherapy and the fascinating contents and extensive resourcefulness of the subconscious mind.  This is where our ‘emotions, habits and behaviors’ are created and where we can accomplish the greatest change.

I also run a relaxation workshop.  This is a friendly and relaxing small group where I will lead you into a deeply relaxed state. The mind is guided away from the troubles of everyday life and into a place of tranquillity and peace. This relaxation therapy is comfortable, safe and is beneficial for both the mind and body.

The key benefits to arise from this type of deep relaxation are:

Helping to restore and strengthen the immune system
Lowering of blood pressure
Stress relief and the lessening of chronic pain, tension headaches, back pain and migraines
Diminishing any emotional upsets and unlocking emotional blockages that can contribute to stress
Aiding concentration ability
Improving energy levels
Aiding sleep.

Some feedback from previous clients -

"Good Morning Lynsay, just want to say thank you sooooooooo much for Monday. I have felt like a different person since our session - like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I use a Fitbit which tracks my sleep. Recently I’ve been averaging 4.5-6 hours sleep a night broken at least every half hour. On Monday night I barely slept but on Tuesday i managed 6.5 hours, Wednesday 7 and last night 8!!!!!! 8 hours sleep and I didn’t wake up often. I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Hopefully this is going to be the new normal".

"I went to Lynsay for hypnotherapy to help with binge eating & the loss of my sister. I really struggled with my sister dying & binge ate because of that. Lynsay really helped me understand why I was doing this & helped me come to terms with my sister. Can’t recommend her enough! I’ve not felt like my old self in a long time & have her to thank for that."

"The treatment I received was very relaxing and I was made to feel welcome throughout. During my session Lynsay's voice was very calming and I came away feeling very positive about my treatment.”

"I really enjoyed my sessions with Lynsay. She made me feel comfortable straight away. I'm feeling much more comfortable around cats."

"Thank you for the sessions. They have been brilliant. Until now I've not had a good relationship with food. This has really focussed my mind and us definitely working. Keep going - you're doing fab work!"

"Regular hypnotherapy got me into a routine! Was fabulous having the cd's to play at home - thanks. Chairs are very comfy!"

" Well worth going to. I was a chocoholic but haven't touched chocolate since August. Lost 12lb over the 5 weeks of classes."
