About me

As a professional Clinical Hypnotherapist, who has personally overcome many challenging life experiences, I am passionate about helping my clients feel better naturally,  make positive life changes and achieve their desired goals.  Whatever the issue, I combine hypnotherapy with a toolbox of NLP,  EFT and coaching techniques to provide insights, tools and strategies to help my clients take back control and thrive when their lives become challenging.

I welcome clients online via Zoom and at therapy rooms in Glasgow City Centre and in The Village in East Kilbride.  Whatever your issue, please feel free to contact me for a friendly confidential chat.  I welcome all enquiries.  I also offer a free 20 minutes  Zoom call if requested to help you decide if you would prefer online or in-person sessions.

With regards to my background, for many years I enjoyed the excitement and career variety London offered before returning to Scotland to raise my son close to family in the late 90's.  In 2008, following a period of debilitating anxiety, I began searching for solutions to help others overcome anxiety.  I studied complementary therapies, gained therapeutic experience working in a hospice and some years later studied counselling skills.  I was determined to find a therapy that offered tools and techniques that would help alleviate anxiety and all the possible effects anxiety can have on the mind and body such as insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, muscular aches and pains, panic attacks, OCD, phobias and depression.   Now qualified in COSCA counselling skills and 11 alternative therapies, I am delighted to state that hypnotherapy is the one that exceeded my expectations, and it continues to surprise me in extraordinary ways.

"My session with Lynda was over Zoom and she helped me break free of an emotional block.   It allowed me to stop blaming the person involved and change the relationship I had with myself.  I literally felt as though a weight had been lifted.  I highly recommend Lynda if you want to break free of memories that are holding you back. " Gregory

"Lynda helped me with my weight loss goals, including a hypnotic gastric band session.  I successfully reached the goal I set at the beginning of our sessions. Lynda made the hypnosis process incredibly relaxing and enjoyable throughout." Helen

"Lynda helped me with a few issues and I found her so relaxing, caring and compassionate. Her calming persona and professionalism helped me make some seismic changes during a tough time in my life. I can't recommend her enough." Tim
