I am committed to helping you get the results that you want. More and more people are turning to hypnotherapy as an easy and effective way of changing unwanted patterns of thought and behaviour that can have a very negative effect on quality of life. I have firsthand experience of how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can change lives, and that is why I am so passionate about getting the message out there that change is possible, and help is available. I trained at the renowned Clifton Practice in Bristol, which is a centre of excellence for hypnotherapy. I am a member of AfSFH and CNHC, and as such I adhere to their strict guidelines. I can help with many issues including anxiety, stress, insomnia, weight issues, fears and phobias, depression, giving up smoking, motivation, M.E. and CFS, panic attacks, addictions and more.
I offer an initial consultation during which I will explain how the brain works so that you understand why you feel the way you do. This helps enormously as it removes any sense of guilt and helplessness once you understand that it comes down to how our brain functions, and that we can influence that for the better. You will have a free CD/MP3 to take away with you. I practice from the Cirencester Hypnotherapy & Health Centre on Mondays, Wednesdays, and by appointment. I also have a practice in Malmesbury. Training, qualifications & experience
I did my Hypnotherapy training at the renowned Clifton Practice in Bristol. I have a DSFH and HPD, and I am a registered member of AfSFH and CNHC. In order to maintain my professional memberships, I adhere to the guidelines requiring Continued Professional Development and Supervision. I am fully insured and hold an up to date Advanced DBS.

The initial consultation lasts 50 minutes and costs £70.
Subsequent sessions last 50 minutes and cost £70.
Smoking cessation lasts 90-120 minutes and is £150. No initial consultation is required for this straightforward process.

Firstly, for anyone like me who always wonders whether testimonials have been written by friends, I did not know Lucy or have any link to Lucy before my initial meeting and have not been asked to write a testimonial. I have written this testimonial as seeing Lucy has been the single best thing I have ever undertaken for my well being.
I originally visited Lucy to address my severe insomnia having suffered from it for 25 years and having tried numerous alternatives including visiting the Harley Street Sleep centre, all to no avail. I was also at the time of my first visit to Lucy suffering from severe depression, anxiety and stress. Lucy has helped me address all of this.
Prior to visiting Lucy, I had read a huge book on emotional intelligence and the brain and I learnt more in the first session with Lucy about the brain and why we feel and act the way we do than I ever understood from reading the entire book. It was a truly enlightening session and it opened new possibilities for me.
Equally from this first session and the follow up activities Lucy suggested, (none onerous) my insomnia started to improve. I still wake up at night to visit the bathroom, but I don't fight for hours to get to sleep and fight to return to sleep when I do wake up.
But more than this, which is a major feat, I just think more positively and therefore act more positively and for the first time in a long time I feel in control of my life instead of just existing.
I could not have done this without Lucy, she is a lovely person, non-judgmental and as far as I'm concerned fantastic at what she does and believe me I am not easily impressed.
Hi Lucy just a short message to say thankyou for your help and support over the last 12 months or so. When I first came to see you, I was having major problems with anxiety and had no confidence at all. So much so that I hadn't been going out socially for over 2 years. I would get nervous and anxious talking to people so much so that I would avoid situations as much as possible were I had to talk to people I didn't know. And to be honest at the beginning I was very sceptical. But as the weeks passed I started to notice small changes and then the more I understood and started to believe in myself those small changes turned into bigger changes. I can honestly say with your help I am a different person. It feels like a new start and now I am the one contacting people to meet up. I have set myself goals that I wouldn't of even thought about before but have now reached some of them. So thank you for getting my life back on track and helping me towards a better life.
Initially I went to Lucy for help because if I was on social outings or dates, where I felt awkward, I would drink to excess and get out of control. What I now know is that social anxiety has been affecting me in a lot more than those instances. The reason I know this is because over the last weeks of hypnotherapy with Lucy, I have gradually been able to face life, phone calls, social occasions, difficult situations and much much more in a calm, focused manner. Six and a half months ago I started to have hypnotherapy for weight loss. I was trapped in a vicious circle of low self esteem leading to comfort eating leading to ever growing weight gain. I felt addicted to sweets and chocolate and unable to go a day without them. Since having regular hypnotherapy sessions I no longer have any cravings at all which has never happened before. My weight has steadily fallen and so far I have lost 5 stone in weight. I feel happy and confident for the first time in years. I can't thank Lucy enough and would thoroughly recommend anyone who is struggling with weight issues to try hypnotherapy with Lucy.
I think people were starting to give up with me ever trying new foods again, I had so many negative comments from people saying how I was now an adult and had no hope of changing and I started to believe them myself, I started to believe I was going to live the rest of my life with my bad eating habits, I thought I would lose my girlfriend because she wouldn't want to put up with my food habits, I started believe I would die at a young age because I didn't have a healthy balanced diet. But with Lucy's help I've been able to change, I was shocked when I first started eating new things, not just little bites but actually enjoying the new taste and textures of everything, which for me was a massive step, something that I wasn't able to do before. Lucy has had a massive impact on my life and the lives of my family who can now have dinner with me normally and I don't have to eat different to everyone else. I can also go out with meals with my girlfriend or my friends and eventually when I have children, they don't have to grow up seeing their dad be so fussy because I wouldn't ever want them to pick up my bad habits.
