About me
AS SEEN ON JEREMY VINE ON CHANNEL 5 TV. I am a regular guest on Jeremy Vine's TV show as a nutritionist and hypnotherapist. Having overcome my own weight problem, I now specialise in weightloss, cravings and emotional/stress eating. I am also a fully-trained nutritionist, so I offer the two therapies together if you wish. I can provide a food plan and recipes at no extra cost of you would find this guidance useful. Otherwise, we can concentrate on hypnotherapy.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Before qualifying as a health professional, I forged a successful career in journalism, TV and radio. Indeed, some clients may be familiar with me from TV programmes such as The Wright Stuff on Channel 5, on which I still appear regularly; DIYSOS, Housecall, 'Lowri' and Looking Good.
My media career helped me hone my communication skills and gave me experience working with a huge variety of people. I now use these same skills to help people one-to-one.
My career change of direction came about because I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovaries), rosacea and food allergies. In learning to improve my own health I became interested in helping others do the same. My training in hypnotherapy grew our of my experience working with clients and realising that getting the right mindset was key to helping people change their behaviour and look and feel better.
I went on to develop my unique combination of the best of hypnotherapy and nutrition together and have been offering this to clients since 2009.
