About me

I am an advanced BWRT practitioner and hypno-analyst based in Bishop's Stortford.

Stress, anxiety and depression can have such a devastating effect on our lives, and the many different forms that trilogy can present themselves. Are you wanting to make changes in your life, things you want to do, things you want to stop doing. If you are struggling with issues then contact me to find out how I can help.

Einstein is quoted as saying ‘we can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them’. We all get stuck in patterns of thought, those thoughts lead to our actions. These are mostly created in childhood, some of the patterns as we reach adult hood are no longer necessary and in many cases have a negative impact on us and our lives. It is possible to change these patterns, it is possible to change the lens through which we have always viewed the world and ourselves. This can have an amazing effect on getting rid of the issues and problems that we have developed over the years from those negative patterns.

One of the main therapies I use is BWRT. This is an immensely powerful style of working that can dissolve problems almost instantaneously. It has been created by Terence Watts, a teacher, author and creator of numerous therapies and training courses. BWRT is incredibly powerful and very fast acting, with only certified BWRT practitioners able to use this modern methodology to work effectively with a great number of human problems and difficulties. If you wish to find out more about this therapy there is more information on my website, www.lisajurytherapy.co.uk and also on its official website, www.bwrt.org.

I developed an interest in working with people and their minds because it was a natural progression from my original profession as a nurse working in London’s East End. I was a community based nurse for many years, and would visit people in their homes and deal with many varying physical ailments. For me however, it was also about the psychological impact that the physical conditions have on people, the mind and body are completely connected. I eventually took time out from nursing to care for my youngest son who was diagnosed from a very young age with severe autism, I trained in techniques to help and teach him including the ‘Son Rise’ method, and this path led me to my interest and eventual training in hypnotherapy and BWRT.

If you’re ready for change, then make that decision to act now. Is your life being limited by your issues, if so and you’re ready to act now to do something about it, call me to find out how I can help you.
