About me
I am approachable, friendly and good at listening to your specific needs being a fully qualified hypnotherapist and a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society I may be able to help you with weight loss, stop smoking, confidence and many other issues. Being qualified in Reiki, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and a Colour Mirrors Practicioner I can also offer alternatives if you are unsure about hypnotherapy. Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills having completed a years course run by Chrysalis at Queen Margaret University which did involve practical hours of training. Certificates in Reiki 1 & 2 with 6 months practical hours, EFT (Emotional Freedom techniques) with practical hours, 3 case studies and an exam through AAMET, Colour Mirrors Practitioner course which was 4 months training on the various aspects of the colours and their effects on the body.
Having worked for the Blood Transfusion for over 10 years as well as my 34 years working in total I have life experience and can show empathy and an understanding of many issues from anxiety,stress, grief, infertility to self esteem and confidence. I also do voluntary work as a support worker for a well known charity. My training is on going as I do regular CPD training events, read various books and keep up to date with articles written on therapies.

The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
