Linda McKenna Hypnotherapist & Counsellor
Welcome to my page.
I love hypnotherapy for its' flexibility, ensuring that the client receives a tailor-made, professional service, where the clients' needs are focussed upon 100%. Hypnotherapy is a safe therapy, that enables the client to focus their attention on the suggestions made by the hypnotherapist by relaxing the body and mind. The client is in full control of their own mind, and it is impossible to be 'stuck' in hypnosis.
Hypnosis empowers the client to take back control of their lives, and learning self-hypnosis enables the client to continue that improvement.
I have a special interest in health-related issues.
Does going to the dentist or hospital make you anxious?
Do you have a fear of needles?
Perhaps you have a chronic health condition, which affects your quality of life?
Are you struggling to cope with a cancer diagnosis?
Does chronic pain rule your life?
For further information, please check out my website at www.lmctherapyservices.co.uk
I am also a qualified counsellor, and work at a Cancer Support Centre as both hypnotherapist and counsellor. My original career was that of a Registered Nurse, including work as a Pain Link Nurse, hence my particular interest in the issues above.

The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
