Hypnotism is a state of deep relaxation where an individual is highly suggestible and open to therapeutic change. Working with the subconscious mind, at LK Therapies- you can overcome many hurdles and reach a place where you feel calmer, happier and more at peace with yourself.
I am an Integrative therapist and use techniques and tools from different modalities delivering a very tailored and individual approach, helping you on a mind and body level. This is short term solution focused therapy with very effective results. Building a trusting and non-judgmental relationship between us, that helps you develop self-awareness and the ability to help yourself, using all of my guidance and continual support, resulting in long lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a background in People development skills and Adult Careers Guidance. I also hold a BSc degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology.
I am a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist (DClinHyp)HPD MNCH(Reg.) and have been using the training and highly effective therapeutic tools that I have learnt over time to help individuals help themselves in life. I am also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I'm a registered member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy so you have the assurance that I am trained to a very high standard. I also have full DBS clearance and can work with Teenagers and Adults.
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
National Council for Hypnotherapy
The National Council for Hypnotherapy holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members.
There is an agreed Code of Conduct, an established Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and all members are obliged to maintain comprehensive Public Liability & Professional Indemnity Insurance, maintain regular CPD (continuing professional development) hours, and attend Supervision when needed.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
