I am a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist with extensive training behind me in hypnotherapy and allied areas. I work strongly from a person centered and mind, body spirit approach but I am still firmly grounded in evidence. I particularly specialise in supporting women across the various life stages and I have a particular interest in pregnancy, social anxiety, stress and general anxiety.
I am an exceptionally patient person willing to work alongside you and support you during and after your work with me. I take the trust you place in me seriously and aim to provide you with an environment in which you can feel able to give me feedback about what you need. I also take professionalism very seriously and I am constantly learning and integrating different disciplines in order to meet my clients needs as holistically as possible.
I am passionate about relaxation and creating a non judgemental space for you to work in. My experience has taught me that the ability to live authentically, self-assertiveness and relaxation are absolutely crucial to the resolution of most issues along with facing experiences rather than avoiding them. I am an open minded practitioner and open to LGBTQ+ clients and people in non-traditional relationships. I tend to work from helping you to find the life you want to live rather than telling you the life you should have and we work collaboratively to find solutions to helping you overcome your problems.
I have overcome anxiety and pain and I know it can seem that there is no way you can overcome it but I believe very firmly you can and will as I did and as my clients have. It is often down to learning new ways of relating to the world and with time and practice you will feel very differently.
I know you may feel nervous about reaching out for the first time and well done for doing so. Please scroll down for further information to find out how to work with me.

The beginning stage of us working together will be a phone call. Then I will invite you in for a discovery session which is entirely free and no obligation is attached. I prefer for you to learn about me and hypnotherapy as well as ask your questions in person because it is easier to see whether we will work together well than in a phone call. I think meeting in person allows for us to have a nice cup of tea or coffee and a no pressure chat and if we find that we cannot work together then you will not have wasted any money.
If we do decide to start work then we would book in a two hour consultation which I call an insight session. In this session we will uncover a lot of information about you and your life that you may not have previously had. We will uncover the roadblocks in your life and generate some solutions for dealing with these. We will also be going through some assessments to check that you are suitable for therapy and that your goals can be worked on in hypnotherapy. If there is time you will also be exposed to your first hypnotherapy session.
Depending on your needs we would then move onto setting the amount of sessions needed to achieve your particular goal. This could be a short 3 hour session or 6 sessions spaced apart for a more chronic issue. My therapy is entirely bespoke and therefore it is difficult to be precise about the length of therapy or indeed what we do. However, it is likely you will be doing a combination of hypnotherapy, cognitive and behavioural therapy such as learning relaxation techniques or exposure therapy.
As I am a person that believes in mind, body and spirit being addressed I also offer adjunctive therapies particularly for those struggling with stress such as massage and yoga. For women you may be interested to know I am a pregnancy massage therapist and for families please note I am an ex nanny with over 10 years working with children so if your children are struggling with issues you can feel safe bringing them to see me.
