About me

A fully qualified hypnotherapist and member of the Hypnotherapy Association, I trained with the South West School of Clinical Hypnotherapy and gained both a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and a Diploma (DipHyp) in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I am also a Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator with HypnoBirthing International.

I have a Hypnotherapy and HypnoBirthing clinic in Saltash Physiotherapy Clinic and The Treatment Barn in Cornwall and Tavistock Therapy Centre in Devon but can also see clients for hypnotherapy online.

As part of my hypnotherapy package I offer:

Personally tailored hypnotherapy sessions
Telephone and email support between sessions
Further reading and homework tasks (don’t worry, they’re fun!)
Ongoing support and discounted group sessions
The assurance that I am fully trained and qualified as well as a member of a national professional body.

I decided to study Hypnotherapy having experienced first hand how life changing it can be and how the skills learnt can be applied to a wide variety of situations. The skill is completely transferable which was something that inspired me to develop and become a hypnotherapist to enable me to pass this ability onto others. Self hypnosis is a skill that anyone can learn and once taught it can be applied independently whenever and wherever the client wishes.

I specialise in anxiety, phobias, childbirth, pain management and weight loss but Hypnotherapy can help in a wide range of areas, for example confidence, public speaking, sports performance and one of my clients solved a life long issue of being unable to get to work on time!

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained with the Southwest School of Clinical Hypnotherapy, a leading and inspiring school with whom I was awarded both a certificate and a diploma in hypnotherapy. I have 9 years of experience helping a wide variety of clients and over time have developed a name for being a specialist in pain management, phobias, anxiety and weightloss.

I am also a certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner with the Mongan Method and provide classes for individuals and groups.
