Laura Greene MBACP, APHP, DIP COUNS & HYP B.A. HONS
I am a fully qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist working with adults, children and adolescents, helping people to make changes to lead happier lives. I work with minor problems to extreme and complex issues. Change is possible for everyone and therapy can be fast, to get people on track to overcome blocks or gain the strength, or identify direction.
My approach to hypnotherapy is wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable, where you remain in control at all times. I help people to access the power of their own mind, in a very natural way, through using techniques of imagination, where really 'if you can see it you can be it!'
Areas of work:
Hypnotherapy can help in all areas of life, where people come to achieve various goals, or overcome various difficulties.
Hypnotherapy is about goal achievement, where I work with sport and business professionals. Sometimes people have a presentation or a work disciplinary, or need to deal with an obnoxious colleague, or need to feel calm and relaxed or confident in a certain area of life.
Hypnotherapy is highly effective with stress, anxiety and panic attacks. Although stress and anxiety can be related to specific problems like pressures, relationships, or work/ school, sometimes it just feels like life in general, where the wonderful relaxation of hypnotherapy allows people to switch off for a moments rest, better than meditation and sleep, where I also work in a way to help people to balance life, to prevent feeling overwhelmed, or work with underlying fears, or relationship issues.
People often come to see me to rid of the negative in life, they may be in physical or emotional pain, maybe because they have a fear or phobia, where any fear or phobia can be helped, or to kick a bad habit, such as nail biting, smoking or addictions. I provide an all- round support plan to help people battle weight loss, where we can look at learnt past patterns, healthy goals and identifying bad habits.
I work with people who even think change is not possible for them, with long- standing habits, who are shocked at the power of their own mind!!
I specialise in:
Depression, Anxiety, panic attacks and fears and phobias of all kinds.
Easy quit smoking therapy
Sports and performance, from absolute beginner to Olympic standard.
Couples Counselling, Relationship and/or non- medical sex issues

My private practice is located in Kingshill, West- Malling, in a quiet location with free onsite parking and is easily accessible from Aylesford, Maidstone, Snodland, Medway, Sevenoakes and Tonbridge.
My approach is warm, supportive and non- judgemental and uphold the highest level of confidentiality possible. The therapy I offer is highly effective in enabling people to reach their goals, to overcome difficulties, or process past traumas. I have trained in various areas. Please contact me to see how I can help your specific needs.
I work with children from three years old for play therapy and six years old for hypnotherapy, through to adulthood. There is a different approach I use with young children, in order to engage their imaginations and find their more confident self, in order to make the changes they would like.
I have experience working with complex emotional difficulties in children, exam stress, confidence issues, to self- esteem and friendship issues. I also work with children who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and ODD, as well as children with a low mood, anxiety, or having experienced past trauma.
A parent consultation is required for children under 12 years old, to discuss your child's needs before my initial session with your child. I also require signed parental consent for anyone under the age of 18 years old. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
