About me

I'm Kirsty Freeland and for over 30 years I have been helping to support people with a variety of issues.  My degree in Psychology gives me an insight into the way your subconscious mind interprets the world.

Unfortunately the mind quite often gets it wrong and inflicts us with fears, anxieties, habits and behaviours that limit our enjoyment of life and hold us back. Our subconscious can believe it is helping us when often it is actually holding us back with unhelpful habits, thoughts and behaviours.

Analytical Hypnotherapy uses the power of the subconscious mind to achieve a more balanced and less harmful way of reacting to the world around us.

If you truly want to be more healthy, more confident, more creative, happier or have more self-esteem, then Analytical Hypnotherapy may be able to help.

I have helped people with issues related to weight, confidence, motivation, life decisions, anxiety, smoking, phobias, bereavement and many more. Call Kirsty to arrange an initial appointment or to have a chat about how hypnotherapy can help you.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Further information

Please note that I will only help individuals who abuse alcohol occasionally. I cannot treat individuals who have a chronic alcohol problem for which medical treatment is recommended. Mild OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and mild depression can respond well to hypnotherapy but severe OCD or chronic depression require medical intervention and they are contraindicated for hypnotherapy treatment. In the case of any mental disorder, you should consult your GP or psychiatrist first.
