I trained as a nurse when I left school, and have since qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Counsellor. I am committed to supporting and empowering clients on their journey through life helping them to be the best version of themselves. I work from a principle and belief that everyone has the inner resources they need, or they can create them, given the right conditions for change.
My passion is to help you with whatever issues you have and help you in being the best version of you. I can help you to make positive changes in your life and help you overcome a variety of issues that may be distressing you in your life. I offer a professional and confidential approach and a therapy that is tailored to your individual requirements.

The wonderful thing about Hypnotherapy is, it works by reprogramming the subconscious mind and its negative patterns of behaviour, within the mind so it fears, phobias and unwanted behaviours can be overcome. During hypnosis you enter a trance state where you are still fully aware of your surroundings and in control of the situation. Your motivation to want to change the behaviour is key to the success of hypnosis.
Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep. It involves the client relaxing into an enhanced state of awareness, as the client hears my voice. In this state the conscious mind is suppressed, and the subconscious mind is revealed, In the hypnotic state I make the positive suggestions, which are the seeds that become firmly implanted in the client’s mind, thereby bringing about positive change.
As the client relaxes the conscious control is relaxed, breathing becomes slower and deeper, the pulse rate falls. The conscious control of the mind is inhibited, and the subconscious mind awoken. Since the subconscious mind is a deeper-seated, more instinctive force than the conscious mind, this the part which has to change for the clients behaviour and physical state to alter.
