About me

I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist, BrainWorking Recursive Therapist (BWRT), Hypnobirthing Practitioiner and Reflexologist living and Working in Ware, Hertfordshire.

Having worked as a Reflexologist for nine years and through using deep relaxation and visualisation techniques with this therapy, I then became interested in qualifying as a Hypnotherapist.

I am experienced in working with issues such as:

  • smoking cessation
  • Hypnobirthing
  • weight loss
  • anxiety
  • fears and phobias
  • confidence and self esteem
  • fear of flying
  • exam nerves
  • public speaking
  • driving test
  • and many more issues.

As recently reported in the media, hypnosis is very effective tool for helping couples to conceive.  When there is no physiological reason for not becoming pregnant the problem may lie in the subconscious mind. By changing your embedded beliefs about your ability to conceive, you give the subconscious mind permission to allow your body to become pregnant and it does this by sending hormones (the chemical messengers) to those parts of your body that may need help and encouragement.

I also use Hypnobirthing to promote relaxation and alleviate any fears during pregnancy, particularly those associated with the birth itself, putting the mother in control and helping them to feel more relaxed about the forthcoming happy event and enjoy the journey with their baby.

I work from home, in Ware, where I have a comfortable, specially dedicated room for my therapies, which clients comment is a very relaxing and peaceful place to be. There is ample street parking and clients are welcome to park on the drive.

Hypnotherapy and BWRT - £60 per one hour session

Smoking Cessation  -  £175 for one two hour session, inclusive of consultation plus a follow up session if required.

Hypnobirthing- these sessions can take place weekdays in Ware or weekday evenings at the clients home

The first session of both Hypnotherapy and BWRT will mostly be taken up with discussing in detail the issues that the client wishes to deal with, followed by a short hypnosis or BWRT if time permits. I will then use the time between the first and second session to prepare a personalised hypnosis tailored to the their needs and this will be used from the second session onwards.
Similarly for BWRT, I will use the time between the first and second session to prepare a treatment plan tailored to the client's needs. Each session will be one hour long and monitored on a session by session basis.

Further information

‘BWRT®’ stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI.

It’s a totally confidential method that doesn’t require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your therapist, and is carried out in a completely conscious state. It doesn’t use hypnosis or any mystical concepts - it’s completely logical, practical and down-to-earth, and only needs you to know what you want to change in your life for it to be completely successful. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org
