I decided to become a hypnotherapist after meeting many people in my workplace who had real problems surrounding self-esteem, confidence, fears and phobias. Having trained in 2008 I have helped many clients achieve the goals they set for themselves and I have also experienced the benefits of hypnosis, regularly using self-hypnosis techniques to help me remain calm and relaxed, especially in stressful situations. Hypnotherapy is a great self-awareness tool, you may not consciously understand where a problem originates but your subconscious does - once you know why you feel that way, have the fear or habit you can make a positive change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the Institute of Natural Therapy in 2008. Since then I have learned counselling techniques, NLP, language patterns, direct suggestion and IMR. I like to think I have a toolbox available so I can choose the right tool to get the best results.
I work with adults and have experience of helping children achieve their goals and have been CRB checked. I don't specialise as I enjoy the diversity that comes with each client and enjoy working with any age from thirteen upwards
My sessions last for about an hour and a half in a private therapy room with full client confidentiality. I strive to give each client the best therapy session I can and offer a personally tailored CD or MP3 recording from the session, which is included in the price.
