About me

Hello This is to let you know that I am continuing to offer hypnotherapy counselling via Skype, WhatsApp and Facetime during the Covid-19 outbreak. I will do the hour-long sessions at a reduced rate.

All of us want to feel happy - to feel good about ourselves, our careers and our relationships. When we feel happy the world around us looks great and obstacles viewed as challenges we can overcome and it's easier to be disciplined in our thoughts and feelings and say "no" to that extra piece of cake or cigarette. We feel more resilient to withstand the criticism of others whether at home or at woSadly, unhappiness affects not only our perception of ourselves but also all those things and relationships which once brought us happiness. Now these represent pain and despair and we may feel anxious and unable to cope. Some may even sink into depression and use alcohol or food to mask their feelingsWhichever the source of our unhappiness recognising that we need help and asking for it is never easy, let alone when we feel at a low ebb and emotionally vulnerable.Sometimes we can resolve the problems ourselves, but there are times when we need the professional help of a qualified counsellor who is also a hypnotherapist - free from judgment - to help us overcome our problem.

Choosing the right help is not easy, but experience and qualifications go along away to reassure that we are making the right choice. See my 'Training & Qualifications' below.

No one is in control of your happiness but you. You have the power to change anything that you want to change and I am able to help you do that.

Further information

"Karen was my last resort, having attended sessions with several other Counsellors. Unlike others, Karen's approach was not to just listen to me but was multi-disciplined with CBT, NLP and hypnotherapy to give me the practical skills/techniques I needed to self-heal and overcome my anxieties. Her hypnotherapy CD's were invaluable tools to help me manage my situation. I now look at life from a new and positive perspective." (Client SP)

"I came for a quick-fix and I got it!" (Client AB)

"When my GP recommended anti-depressants for my anxiety I knew that I had to find an alternative solution. Thank goodness a friend recommended Karen who with her joint-skills of counselling and hypnotherapy was able to help me overcome my anxiety. I really recommend her audio Anxiety CD. "(Client HS)

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

During the Covid outbreak I am offering online counselling via Skype, Facetime and WhatsApp.
