You probably want to know what I'm going to do to help you. I can't answer this, for one simple reason - I haven't met you yet. Cognitive Hypnotherapy is so effective because it is completely client-focussed. How you 'do' your anxiety, stress, phobias or any other issues will be totally individual to you and so the work we do together will be precisely tailored to you too.
This is a fancy way of saying we work together. I'm on your side and I'll give you the tools you need to help you live the life you want. But it is up to you to use them, to take responsibility. I take a 'root and branch' approach. I can give you techniques to help you cope (the branch) or together we can get to the root of the problem, find out what's really going on and I'll help you to fix it.
Do you have something going on and you're wondering why? For instance..
You want to lose weight but keep eating - why?
You want to go on holiday or are desperate to visit family abroad but are frightened of flying - why?
You seem to keep repeating the same mistakes - why?
The job of our subconscious is to keep us safe but sometimes it makes mistakes and - here's the brilliant part - we can change things by thinking about them differently. Shakespeare, all those hundreds of years ago, understood this: "There's nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
What sort of people might benefit?
My clients range in age from being in their 80s to young teenagers and I help many young people and students with the challenges they face.
So if you are feeling overwhelmed or even just a little bit lost or stuck, give me a call on 07890 122018 and we can chat about how you can switch your thinking and change your life.
